Watie mulai belajar yoga sejak 2007 karena mengalami masalah kesehatan. Menyelesaikan Pelatihan Mengajar Yoga di Yoga Leaf tahun 2008 dan mengikuti lebih dari 40 workshop yoga dari berbagai guru-guru yoga dunia, termasuk workshop meditasi dan penyembuhan.

Ia mengikuti Yoga Conference tahun 2008 di Hongkong dan Shivananda Yoga dengan tinggal di ashram di India tahun 2012.

Watie juga belajar Yoga Tertawa pada Dr. Madan Kataria di tahun 2013. Ia telah berbagi manfaat Yoga Tertawa ini dalam banyak retreat yoga seperti  Konferensi Yoga Dunia oleh Ananda Marga di Bandung dan hotel bintang lima di Jakarta, bank-bank untuk paket spesial bagi anggota eksekutif atau outbound dan Yoga Teachers Training.

Ketertarikannya pada penyembuhan mandiri dan chakra membawanya ke praktik Kundalini Yoga yang diajarkan oleh Maya Feines. Ia berbagi pengetahuan dan pengalamannya  pertama kali di YogFest 2014.

 

Sekilas tentang Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga ialah perpaduan dinamis antara postur-postur fisik, pernapasan, gerakan, peregangan, meditasi, mantra dan relaksasi. Semua elemen itu mengaktifkan sistem kelenjar kita, mengautkan sistem syaraf, menambah kapasitas paru-paru dan memurnikan kembali aliran darah. Kundalini Yoga menyeimbangkan kembali tubuh, pikiran dan jiwa.

Melalui praktik teknik pernapasan kriya dan mantra-mantra akan meningkatkan prana atau energi kehidupan melalui tubuh. Prana akan melalui tangan, mata dan bahkan suara dan bisa dipakai sebagai alat untuk menyembuhkan diri dan orang lain.

Profile of Watie Eshuis

Watie Eshuis started learning yoga since 2007 when she had many health problems. Completed Teacher Training at Yoga Leaf in 2008 and has attended more than 40 yoga workshops from International Yoga teachers, including healing and meditation workshops . She attended Yoga Conference in 2008 in Hongkong in June 2008 and shivananda Yoga vacation and stayed in ashram, in India in December 2012. Completed training as Laugther Yoga Leader taught by Dr Madan Kataria MD in 2013. She has shared laughter yoga with many retreats such as at International Yoga conference organised by Ananda Marga in Bandung and at 5 stars hotel in Jakarta , Banks, for special package for Executive members or outbound and at Yoga Teachers Training.

Her interest on self healing, meditation and chakras brought her to the practice of Kundalini Yoga taught by Maya Feines and she has shared her experience with her students. Her first teaching of Kundalini Yoga and emotional healing was at the YogFestival 2014.

Completed Meditation Basic Bali Usada, Art of Living Basic Course , self healing of Quantum Touch I,II ( Advanced Course), quantum for scoliosis, and Opening Heart Meditation at Padmajaya. She has completed Joy of Living Meditation I and II by Tergar Jakarta in 2013-2014 and completed as a coach for Capacitar healing in 2015.

About Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini yoga is a dynamic blend of physical postures,breathing,movement,strethcing.meditation ,mantra and relaxation,the combination of which activates the glandular system,strengthens the nervous system,expands the lung capacity and purifies the bloodstream. It brings balance to the body,mind and soul.
Through the practice of kriya breathing technique and mantras will increase prana the life force flowing through the body. It flows through hands, eyes and even the voice and can be used as a tool to heal ourselves and others.
